Big congratulations to French students Eliza Apavaloaiei and Hazal Su Ceylan, as well as Senior Lecturer Jessica Thornton-Hoselton, for their presentations at UIC's annual In/Between Conference 2024!
In the Undergraduate Research Forum, Eliza presented "Musical Legacies: Children in the Reformation and its Contemporary Counterpart," advised by Ellen McClure. Hazal presented "Self-Confidence and Language Skills of Language Learning Assistants at UIC," advised by Elizabeth Weber, and co-presented "The relationship between second language proficiency and neurocognitive processing," advised by Kara Morgan-Short.
In the Paper Panel, Jessica presented "Crafting Practical Magic: Navigating Humanities Education in a Post-AI Era."
