French and Francophone Studies awarded Bridge to the Faculty Postdoc
The Department of French & Francophone Studies has been awarded a Bridge to the Faculty Postdoctoral Research Associate position in the field of Francophone Studies through the Office of Diversity and the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs. The new Bridge to the Faculty postdoctoral program is designed to attract and retain emerging scholars who will contribute to the culturally diverse educational environment at UIC, with the goal of transitioning them to faculty positions after two years. A committee comprised of six UIC faculty and administrators from various disciplines carefully and thoughtfully reviewed all applications.
